Rain Chances Coming Soon?

Good Afternoon!

Temperatures today were easily able to reach our forecast high, and most places were able to overshoot the forecast high. At the airport in Bowling Green we reached 84° for our high. Highs later this week will continue to get higher and higher ahead of our next weather system that will move into the area into this weekend.

3:15 Temperatures Across the State via KY Mesonet

Tonight will be super nice as skies will be mostly clear and temperatures will be in the low 60s. Some places may be able to even dip down into the upper 50s. The good news is the humidity has been super low today so it has been really comfortable.

If you have any outdoor activities that you want to complete tomorrow will be the best day to do so, as storms will move into the area late in the afternoon on Saturday. I will have more details on the system on tomorrows blog.

We are beginning to get into that time where rainfall is becoming desperately needed. The latest US Drought Monitor places most of KY in a state of abnormally dry conditions. Here is a look a look at the drought monitor.
