Rain Coming Soon!

Good Afternoon!

Today has been a great day to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather! Temperatures have warmed into the low 80s. Highs still have a chance to reach the forecast of 85° in some areas but for the most part, most places have already reached their high for this afternoon.

The day tomorrow looks to be pretty nice for the most part as temperatures will make their return to the 90s and clouds will increase as the day goes on. Rain chances will increase tomorrow night as a Mesoscale Convective System (MCS) moves toward our area. For that reason there has been a slight risk of severe weather posted for areas of northern Kentucky for sunday afternoon and evening!

The attention turns to the Bowling Green area on Sunday with another chance of severe weather comes into play. The Storm Prediction Center has already issued a slight risk of severe weather for our area. It is still to far out to tell exactly how severe these storms will be, and I will keep an eye on it and keep you abreast on changing weather.

Not only is there a chance of severe weather over the next couple of days. But the possibility is there also for some heavy rain over the area, the Weather Prediction Center has a graphic of Quantitative Precipitation Forecasts (QPF) that shows how much rain is expected over a given period of time over a given area.
