4th of July Forecast!

Good Afternoon!

Today has been a very nice day across southern Kentucky with temperatures mainly in the mid to upper 70s. With clouds just building in over the last hour or so. These conditions are going to continue over the next few days with temperatures staying relatively cool for this time of year making for a beautiful holiday weekend for whatever outdoor activities you may have planned. Tonight looks beautiful for those of you who want to head out to Thunderfest at the National Corvette Museum. Fireworks will start around 9:15 tonight!

After the weekend temperatures will warm back up into the mid 80s, and 90s into next week. So enjoy the nice weather over the next few days while you can. We will be able to get through the entire weekend without seeing another chance of rain. Rain chances will go back up as we get into the higher temperatures as the summer weather pattern makes its return.

Forecast:

Tonight: Skies becoming mostly clear with a north wind at 5-10 mph. Low: 60°

4th of July: Clear skies with a nice north wind near 5 mph. High: 80°

Tomorrow Night: Great night for fireworks with a light northwest wind at 3-5 mph. Low 55°

As always you can get up to the minute weather information on Facebook at Southern Kentucky Weather, and on twitter @sokyweather!

Have a Great Night!
