Good Evening!
Today has been an absolutely beautiful day across southern Kentucky! Temperatures were a bit cooler than we have been seeing and sunshine dominated most of the day. But as the day progressed, some clouds began to filter into the picture along with some isolated showers sparked by a cold front that is moving into the area. This cold front will be the reason that much cooler temperatures will overspread the region over the next few days!
Dew points will also come crashing down behind the cold front making for much less soggy air and much more comfortable conditions. Most people will be excited to hear that these conditions will persist into your holiday weekend. Clear skies and temperatures in the low 80s will be commonplace throughout the region over the next couple of days!
Forecast:
Tonight: Isolated showers before 7 PM, but otherwise partly cloudy skies, west winds at 5-10 mph. Low: 64°
Tomorrow: Mostly sunny skies with a west wind at 5-10 mph. High: 80°
Tomorrow Night: Cooler night with partly cloudy skies and west winds becoming calm after midnight. Low: 60°
4th of July: Sunny skies to dominate the day along with cooler than normal temperatures and a north wind at 5-10 mph. High: 80°
Have a Great Night!
