Rain Possible, Warm Weekend to Follow!

Good Evening!

Today was the beginning of a beautiful warm up across southern Kentucky. High temperatures around the region reached into the upper 60s, even knocking on the door of the 70° mark in some places. The good news is that these temperatures look to continue on through tomorrow and into the weekend. So for those of you looking to have some outdoor activities on your Easter Sunday, you will have absolutely no issues whatsoever!

There is only one blemish in the forecast before we get to the amazing weekend ahead and that comes tomorrow. Forecast models are hinting at the possibility of some rain across southern Kentucky tomorrow afternoon. But the trend is for the chance of this rain happening has been dwindling down over the last few days, to the point where the rain is going to be so isolated that it is not even included in my forecast.

What about Easter Weekend?

Looking ahead to your Easter weekend, the warm up trend that started yesterday will continue into the weekend. Temperatures will hit the 70° mark on Saturday, and may even inch pretty close to the 80° mark on your Easter Sunday. So Sunday will be a great day to have some outdoor activities and just enjoy the nice warm weather and sunny skies before the next rain chances!

Forecast:

Tonight: Mostly cloudy overnight with a very light south wind. Low: 48°

Tomorrow: Partly sunny skies with winds kicking in out of the south at 3-5 mph. High: 67°

Tomorrow Night: A few clouds with winds shifting to the northeast and becoming calm. Low: 46°

Have a Great Day!
